# Frequently asked questions

**Is there really a free preview?** Yes. Upload any file and the first 2 minutes are transcribed and shown as a live WebVTT preview for free — no account, no card.

**How much does a full export cost?** $1.50, or 1 credit. Credit packs (3 and 10 exports) lower the per-export price. There are no subscriptions.

**Do I need an account?** No. Upload, preview and pay for a single export with zero registration. A free account is optional and adds credits and download history.

**What formats do I get?** Every unlock downloads .vtt, .srt, .txt and .md.

**Which files are supported?** MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC and video containers MP4, WebM and MOV (audio extracted automatically). Files up to 500MB.

**How long can my audio be?** No hard cap. Long files are split at silence into ~25-minute pieces and merged with correct timing.

**What happens to my upload?** Processed server-side and deleted after export — we do not keep or share your audio.

**How accurate is it?** OpenAI Whisper with automatic language detection and punctuation. Review the free sample before paying.
